Suddenly it's Sunday. Not quite sure what happened yesterday. The evening was nice--neighbours came for drinks and Zan's homemade mince pies. Lots of children running amok. During the day quite a lot of time was spent preparing and organizing and cleaning and so on. It's been pleasantly uneventful around here, but still rather busy, just catching up with and sorting out the many loose ends that persist in hanging around.

Today, we went to Adam's christening (at a church in Brixton that we've passed on the bus thousands of times, but never seen from the inside), and to the party afterwards. Adam is the child of my friend and colleague Liz, and her husband Andrew.

And now it's time to pack.

Tomorrow morning very early, I'm off to Glenn's studio for a bit more recording, and then we really are on vacation for a week.
